Terms & Licensing
These Terms & Licensing conditions govern access to and use of FrontierBuy, including the purchase, activation, management and use of software licenses and related services made available through the FrontierBuy platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, placing an order, purchasing a license or otherwise using FrontierBuy, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Licensing conditions.
If you are using FrontierBuy on behalf of a company, organization or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use FrontierBuy or purchase licenses through the platform.
2. FrontierBuy Services
FrontierBuy provides infrastructure software licensing and related provisioning services for hosting companies, developers, agencies, infrastructure operators and other customers.
Services may include software license provisioning, automated activation, license management, server migration, API access, CLI tools, webhooks and related technical services.
FrontierBuy may modify, introduce or discontinue individual services, products or technical features from time to time.
3. Software Licenses
FrontierBuy does not transfer ownership of third-party software to the customer. A license purchase provides the customer with the applicable rights to use the relevant software subject to the license type, duration, technical restrictions and other conditions applicable to that product.
License limitations may include restrictions relating to servers, IP addresses, installations, users, instances, activations, transfers or other technical parameters.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of licensed software complies with the applicable license conditions.
4. Third-Party Software
Products available through FrontierBuy may be developed, published, maintained and licensed by independent third-party software companies.
Such products remain the intellectual property of their respective developers, publishers and rights holders.
Use of third-party software may additionally be subject to the applicable vendor's End User License Agreement, terms of service, acceptable use policies and other contractual requirements.
FrontierBuy's terms do not replace or override any mandatory terms imposed by the applicable software vendor.
5. Licensing Sources
FrontierBuy may obtain licenses through third-party licensing channels, distributors, suppliers, partners or other commercial sources.
FrontierBuy takes reasonable steps to source and provision legitimate software licenses. However, FrontierBuy may depend on third parties for information regarding licensing authorization, availability, validity and continued recognition of particular licenses.
Where a third-party licensing source causes a license to be revoked, invalidated or otherwise rendered unusable, FrontierBuy will use commercially reasonable efforts to investigate the matter and, where appropriate, provide a replacement license, account credit or refund in accordance with the circumstances and applicable refund terms.
6. Account Registration
Customers must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity performed through their account.
FrontierBuy may require additional information where necessary to verify an account, process a payment, prevent fraud or provision a license.
7. License Activation
FrontierBuy may provision licenses through automated activation systems, installation scripts, APIs, CLI tools or other technical mechanisms.
Customers may be required to provide technical information including server IP addresses, hostnames or other information required to activate or manage a license.
Activation times displayed by FrontierBuy are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Technical, vendor or network issues may occasionally delay activation.
8. License Migration
Where supported, customers may migrate licenses between eligible servers using FrontierBuy's available migration functionality.
Migration may be subject to product-specific restrictions, vendor limitations, technical requirements or reasonable anti-abuse controls.
FrontierBuy may restrict unusually frequent migrations where necessary to prevent unauthorized license sharing or other abuse.
9. Pricing
Prices displayed on FrontierBuy are applicable at the time of purchase and may change without prior notice.
Recurring licenses are billed according to the billing period selected at checkout.
FrontierBuy may correct pricing, product or technical errors where an obvious error has occurred.
10. Payments
Customers must provide valid payment information and authorize FrontierBuy or its payment provider to charge the applicable amount.
FrontierBuy may suspend or restrict services where a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, charged back or is reasonably suspected to involve fraud or unauthorized activity.
Customers are responsible for any taxes, duties or governmental charges applicable to their transactions unless otherwise stated at checkout.
11. Recurring Subscriptions
Where a product is offered on a recurring basis, the subscription will automatically renew at the applicable billing interval unless cancelled before the next renewal.
Customers may cancel recurring subscriptions using the cancellation functionality made available by FrontierBuy or by contacting support.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already started.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the product, license status, activation status, usage and circumstances of the request.
Refunds may be considered where FrontierBuy is unable to provision a purchased license, where a license becomes unusable due to an issue attributable to FrontierBuy or its licensing source, or where FrontierBuy otherwise determines that a refund is appropriate.
A license that has already been activated or materially used may not be eligible for a refund except where required by applicable law or otherwise approved by FrontierBuy.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
13. Acceptable Use
Customers must use FrontierBuy and its services lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Customers must not:
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent software licensing restrictions;
- share licenses with unauthorized users or infrastructure;
- create unauthorized duplicate activations;
- resell or redistribute licenses without authorization;
- reverse engineer FrontierBuy's licensing or provisioning systems;
- attempt to bypass technical or security controls;
- use fraudulent or stolen payment information;
- attack, compromise or disrupt FrontierBuy infrastructure;
- abuse FrontierBuy APIs, automation systems or provisioning services;
- use FrontierBuy for unlawful activity; or
- violate applicable third-party software licensing conditions.
14. License Abuse
FrontierBuy may investigate suspected licensing abuse, fraud, unauthorized activation or other violations of these terms.
FrontierBuy may temporarily suspend activations, restrict account functionality or disable affected licenses while an investigation is conducted.
Confirmed abuse may result in cancellation of licenses, suspension or termination of an account, and refusal to provide further services.
15. API and Automation
FrontierBuy may provide REST APIs, CLI tools and webhooks for automated license provisioning and management.
API credentials must be kept confidential and must not be disclosed to unauthorized parties.
Customers must not use automation in a manner that overloads, disrupts, probes or attempts to circumvent FrontierBuy's infrastructure or security controls.
FrontierBuy may impose reasonable rate limits, authentication requirements or other restrictions to maintain platform stability and security.
16. Service Availability
FrontierBuy aims to provide reliable licensing and provisioning services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability except where expressly provided under an applicable Service Level Agreement.
Availability may be affected by maintenance, software vendors, network providers, infrastructure failures, security incidents or circumstances outside FrontierBuy's reasonable control.
17. Security
FrontierBuy maintains reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect its systems and customer information.
Customers remain responsible for securing their accounts, API credentials, server credentials and infrastructure.
Any suspected unauthorized access, security vulnerability or compromise involving FrontierBuy should be reported promptly.
18. Intellectual Property
FrontierBuy's website, branding, software, interfaces, documentation, original content, API and related materials are owned by or licensed to FrontierBuy and may not be reproduced, modified or redistributed without authorization.
Third-party trademarks, logos, software and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
FrontierBuy does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks or software merely because such products are listed or made available through the FrontierBuy platform.

19. Third-Party Services
FrontierBuy may integrate with or depend upon third-party services, including payment processors, software vendors, hosting infrastructure, authentication providers, communications services and other technology providers.
FrontierBuy is not responsible for interruptions or failures originating solely from third-party services outside its reasonable control.
20. Suspension and Termination
FrontierBuy may suspend or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that the customer has violated these terms, engaged in fraud, abused licensing systems, created a security risk or otherwise used the services in a manner that may expose FrontierBuy or third parties to legal, financial or technical harm.
Customers may stop using FrontierBuy at any time and may cancel recurring subscriptions through the available account controls.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before the termination date.
21. Disclaimers
FrontierBuy provides its services on an availability basis and, except where expressly stated, does not guarantee that every third-party software product will remain available, compatible with every environment or supported indefinitely.
FrontierBuy does not control the development, maintenance, pricing, policies or continued availability of third-party software.
Product-specific terms may apply in addition to these terms.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FrontierBuy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data or goodwill arising from use of the platform or third-party software.
FrontierBuy's total liability arising from a particular service will, where legally permissible, be limited to the amount paid by the customer for that service during the applicable period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers are responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from their unlawful use of FrontierBuy, misuse of licensed software, violation of these terms or infringement of third-party rights.
24. Changes to These Terms
FrontierBuy may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to its services, licensing arrangements, technology, legal requirements or business operations.
The latest version will be published on this page together with its effective date.
Continued use of FrontierBuy following the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to FrontierBuy's contracting entity, except where mandatory laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights or protections available to customers under applicable law.
